NCC 2025 Proposed Changes Released

The ABCB has released the proposed changes for the National Construction Code (NCC) 2025, initiating a two-month consultation period. While the focus lies primarily on commercial and mixed-use residential buildings, it's worth noting that housing and Class 1 buildings will also be impacted.

These changes include stricter condensation provisions and requirements for electrical vehicle pre-provisioning in new homes as well as apartment energy efficiency.
